There’s a reason for the wholesale assault on public education in the the USA. It’s the same reason the slaves weren’t taught to read and write. When you can keep a people ignorant of the truth it becomes easier to keep them docile.
What we see happening is a turning back of the clocks. We keep talking ad nauseum about being the world’s greatest Democracy while the very principles of Democracy are eroding right before our eyes.
We have yet to resort to the German book burning of the 1930’s but its coming. Only in the last 50 years as there been significant growth opportunities for black writers in the publishing world. What will the attack on truth mean for new young authors?
We are attempting to fight an enemy by conventional means who’s strategy is to turn the system against itself. There is no law that says that a sitting President or a former President cannot be indicted for a crime. There is no law that says that a Presidential candidate can not be investigated while running for office. There is no law but a policy derived from corruption. We will not stamp out the lingering corruption until we recognize that the system we engineered almost 300 years ago can not keep up in a world where people are more intrigued by power than they are by right and wrong.
The fact that we have an Adolf Hitler want to be running for the highest office in the land should alarm every US citizen. Don’t fool yourself, it’s more than just talk. It’s a direct plea for people to join him in his March towards retribution. The notion of democratic freedom and retribution being linked demonstrates how successful they have been in fomenting an ignorant society.
A country torn by these baseline conflicts can not long persist. Somethings got to give. Today we lost more lives in a mass shooting in Tenn. Why? Because we have a culture of gun worship. We have given the Second Amendment to the Constitution a meaning it was never suppose to have. Why because we are ignorant. The Chief legal document of this nation has not kept pace with the ability of men to formulate evil.
