I wish I could say that I was surprised that evidence shows that at least one Capitol police officer attempted to aid a January 6th perpetrator. There are far more tentacles to uncover. The thing is exposing those tentacles requires exposing the depth and breath of the entire mess.
The one thing that everyone needs to appreciate is that this matter must be taken seriously. There can’t be any white washing or cover up for anyone. I know that there are people in Washington who feel that exposing the whole mess will result in an uprising. It may. Not exposing it and brushing it under the rug guarantees the end of this country. We are going to face Civil unrest no matter what we do. It’s better to clean house once than to let the beast hide in the dark and grow stronger.
The January 6th commission must get serious about this. They are acting as if they have forever to deliver results. They do so at their peril and the peril of the country.
We are living in a vipers nest of Benedict Arnold’s, the only chance we have is to cut off the heads of the snakes quickly.
