I just don’t understand how people can convince themselves that an idiot who managed to bankrupt business after business could find his azz with both hands.
Fixing the economic quagmire we find ourselves in doesn’t take a rocket scientist. We close down the country for the next 90 days. We pass legislation that enables people to live in the interim.
After that we take a page from FDR’s playback and start a new WPA program. We fund it by repealing the federal tax cuts. We create jobs that put Americans to work on our crumbling national infrastructure. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure any of this out.
Only a bunch of fools wait for a fool to see the light. We’re not going back to the way things were. We’re entering a brand new world and survival and any measure of prosperity will depend on our ability to adapt.
