The liar in chief was on television today saying that if Biden were elected he would kill jobs. To that I say bs.

Here’s what I know with absolute certainty. This feckless moron had a great opportunity to prove all of his naysayers wrong in 2017 before the Congress enacted the dumbest tax reduction bill in the history of this nation.

In a time where we have not had a national infrastructure program since the Presidency of Dwight Eisenhower he blew a golden opportunity. The Congress passed a multi year trillion dollar tax cut. 90% of the benefit of that tax cut went to corporations and the nations super rich. We don’t need to argue about the efficacy of trickle down economics because we’ve had almost 40 years of seeing that they don’t work.

If we had committed to a new national infrastructure program it could have rivaled FDR’s WPA program in job creation. Those new jobs could have had a multiplying effect on new jobs and new businesses. We would have been on the way to building a sustainable period of economic growth. No matter what we do we’re never going to bring the days of manufacturing supremacy. The sooner Americans realize that the sooner we can begin to work on real opportunities.

Now invariably there are going to be those that want to argue the issue about manufacturing. Here’s the thing whether your building cars, electronics, or some other commodity the biggest consideration in the decision about where those products are manufactured is where the market is. In terms of emerging markets there’s no contest. India and China are where the buyers are going to be. If we look at China right now the consumer base for products far outstrips the US. Over the last forty years we have witnessed a phenomenal growth in income levels that allow these emerging markets to be the next wave of consumers.

Just like Henry Ford created the $5.00 work day so that people could afford to buy his product we are seeing emerging markets become consumers because of higher wages.

While Trump is busy trying to convince Americans that they don’t have to evolve the rest of the world is passing us by. The new opportunities that will materialize over the next will require that we invest in educating our youth to compete in a global market. Everyday that we spend trying to hold onto the past pushes us further behind. There is an entire market designed to take advantage of the Amsrican skills shortfall. Rather than spend our energy fighting the tide we need to climb on board the wave.

The appeal that Trump makes to our people is a dead end with no pathway to the future. All you need do with Truml is look closely at PAST PERFORMANCE. He’s not the leader America needs to get us over the line. He just doesn’t get it.
