I grew up with some really strange remedies. When I was a kid my mother believed that castor oil was a remedy for everything. If you’re not a part of the castor oil generation I can’t begin to describe to you how god awful this stuff was.
From the moment it hit your palate your gag reflex would begin to work overtime. It felt like torture. As bad as the experience was it did teach me something. I learned that when you are faced with bad medicine it’s better to swallow it quickly and get it over with rather than prolonging the agony by taking multiple small sips of it.
I wish someone would have this conversation with Donald Trump. The repercussion of this pandemic aren’t going to go away simply because he wants them too. The medicine is going to be harsh. You can sprinkle sugar on —- but it still taste like s–t.
