The last few days I’ve been giving close consideration to this law and order mantra that #BunkerBitchakaDJT and #BillBarrthefixer recite almost everyday. Almost everyday one or the other of them and sometime both of them are on television talking about the growth of crime and lawlessness. Sunday and yesterday #BillBarrthefixer made the rounds referring to American citizens as anarchist, Bolsheviks, and terrorist for exercising their to protest. Today #BunkerBitchakaDJT opened his press conference/propaganda session talking about the growth in crime.
Spreading fears is a very effective way of destabilizing people. These two clowns like to talk about crime but they only talk about curtailing it with force. They never talk about attacking the root causes of crime and anti social behavior. Imagine what would happen if we invested half of the money from our penal system in supplementing our national educational spending. If every child in this country could be guaranteed an equivalent educational opportunity our crime rates would decrease exponentially. Education represents the primary gateway to economic and social mobility.
With the #BunkerBitchakaDJT tax cuts we gave a trillion dollar windfall to the richest people and corporations in the nation. If we had spent that money 💰 on a national infrastructure program not only would we have created millions of new well paying jobs; those jobs would have had a multiplier effect for additional jobs and businesses. People who are stable and prosperous don’t commit crime. When your message is about law and order but you refuse to acknowledge the underlying causes you only exacerbate the problems.
You can keep hitting your head up against a wall or you look for way around it, over it, or through it. The #BunkerBitchakaDJT and #BillBarrthefixer approach doesn’t work. It’s time to do something different.
