Joe Manchin if you really care about the people of West Virginia let me remind you that President Biden’s infrastructure and jobs bill will helps West Virginia. Allow me to remind you that West Virginia as an unemployment problem and a poverty problem.
West Virginia as an unemployment level that ranks it 30th in the nation. The unemployment number is concerning. Even more concerning is the poverty rating for the state. West Virginia ranks 46th out of 50 states in its poverty rate.
The infrastructure and jobs bill will help to dramatically reduce West Virginia’s unemployment and poverty rate.
Senator Manchin you don’t have to hope that those things improve. You have the opportunity to be the captain of your ship and the Master of your fate. Drop this ridiculous resistance to the change on the filibuster rule and make history. I can guarantee you that more people will remember you for helping to bring prosperity to West Virginia than those that will remember you as the guy that helped to facilitate the death of the grand experiment. Your choice.
