How can people be so profoundly stupid?? These right wing hate groups don’t understand that people like Trump are users, they don’t share power. They’re being played for suckers and they don’t see it.
This isn’t from a new playbook. On the contrary it’s been around for a while. Hitler used it 87 years ago. The SA did his dirty work and they did it well. Ernst Rohm and Adolf were long time compatriots until Hitler decided that Rolm and the SA posed a threat to his control.
Even the alt right hate groups can learn a lesson from history. Autocrats have no desire to share power. By the beginning of June 1934 Hitler felt confident enough of his control in Germany that he no longer needed Rohm and the SA. They posed an existential threat to Hitlers one man rule. On June 30th of 1934 Hitler launched the Night of the Long Knives. By July 2nd of 1934 he had disposed himself of the SA leadership and his buddy Ernst Rohm.
Trump doesn’t know how to play well with others in the sandbox. Whoever is foolish enough to make a faustian bargain with Trump is always destined to eventually become the sacrificial lamb.
History is a continuous loop.
