Americans suffer from too much hubris. We are quick to declare victory inspite of the evidence right in front of our eyes.
It finally happened. Mr. Orange Marmalade declared war on the US Constitution and the leadership of the GOP remain as quiet as church mice.
No alarm bells no righteous indignation. I suppose it was only a matter of time. After all far too many Americans have zero understanding of civics and are oblivious to what the Constitution really says. They don’t comprehend that the 1st amendment mentions is applicable only to government action. No where in the amendment does it speak to the right of private enterprise to regulate speech.
Trump is now prepared to fully launch a scorched earth policy. An all out assault on the Constitution would mean that the separation of powers would die a quick and painful death. The branches of government would be thrown into chaos.
Trumps rant must be taken seriously. He is betting that the reverence that the people hold for the office of President will prevent them from holding him accountable. The lines now are crystal clear. A failure to bring Trump to just will have dire consequences for everyone in this country. It will create a level of global insecurity the world 🌎 as never known.
DOJ must act with expediency and do what needs to be done. This is not a drill, it is the culmination of eroding accountability at the Executive branch. Time is not our ally.

It is hard to think of anybody since Hitler who is more detestable than this guy. Yet the worse he gets the more his followers seem to like him. From an insurrection to calling for the banning of the Constitution, he just keeps getting worse. But considering what you said about most of America’s lack of knowledge of civics and the complacency of those who do but don’t care, it’s understandable. Most of his base are white nationalists and white supremacists with low IQs who were lying dormant just waiting for a leader. And along came Donald J. Trump, a self centered, selfish, narcissist, who will do anything to be the center of attention. He’s the Pied Piper they’d been waiting for. Only they’re not naive children, and this is no fairy tail. It is a deadly serious real life situation. Lord, help us, if he manages to pull off getting elected president again. You’re right, get ready for Anarchy! Then Canada will become the new U.S., and the U.S. will become the new Mexico. And Canada had better get ready for the immigration influx. I only hope they have a more compassionate immigration policy than we do. Cause, I’ll be among those applying for citizenship. 😢😡
