It began with my father. He insisted that after school each day I devote two hours to studying. It didn’t matter whether I came home without homework, I was still required to study. I didn’t know it at the time but he was preparing my mind. I would become a sponge soaking up knowledge along the way. Developing invaluable critical thinking skills. I am forever grateful for the investment my father made in me. He was a brilliant man.
PS stop buying your children the latest and greatest gaming systems. Buy them books that make them think and become the next generation of critical thinkers.
